Trisha Dewan Review for Ishom, Hauz Khas

For me, Ishom is one of the stores in the Hauz Khas Village that has a lot of things for the younger generation as well as the older generation. I mean that’s my personal opinion. I do not like their indian clothes and suits as much as I like the western and indo-western clothes. Recently, I bought a black coloured net cape for myself which had floral embroidery on the border which was really elegant and cute. It looked great on me and I loved how it fit. It was just for 5,000 which I felt was a great price for a designer product and a product that is so cute and dressy. I also liked how versatile the garment was as I can wear it with a saree as well as a western outfit. You should also visit the store if you are looking for a good collection of indo-western and fusion clothing.

Getting dressed up in a gown is every girl's fantasy and so is mine. Well following my fantasy I landed up at a store named Ishom, in Hauz Khas Village. That wide collection of gowns in front, made me go Lovestruck there and then. A blue - green coloured gown with mirror and sequin work caught my eye. It was displayed with such beauty that nobody could pass by without looking at it twice. I tried that gown and without any second thoughts I bought it in 18,000 INR. The store even offers sarees, lehangas, formal shirts and tops, leggings and Capris, anarkalis, shrugs and jackets etc. The store is worth visiting. The collection was super stunning and my gown was worth the cost. read more...

I went to Ish Om to look for lehengas and sarees for an upcoming fancy wedding in my family. I must say It's a nice boutique for women’s ethnic wear located in Hauz Khas Village. It has very nice Indian traditional wear for women from suits, anarkalis and lehengas. They looked so beautiful with all the mirror, seqence, stone work on them and the heavy borders. They also had few pieces of sareees that were beautiful designed. The staff as well as the owner were so nice and well spoken then I seriously wanted to buy something from there just to make them happy. Anyhow I also love how they used the small space to design such a cute store..Totally worth it! The price of lehengas, suits and... read more...

I had gone shopping with my mother and she spotted this store. I was reluctant to go as it looked like a really small and mediocre store to me. But I went nevertheless. And both my mom and I were really excited as the store turned out to be a great one. It only looked small in it’s appearance but had a lot to offer. We finally ended up buying a coral coloured kurta which had golden cut-dana and mirror work on it. It was gorgeous and suited both of us equally. So we bought it and till date we wear it. It turned out to be of great quality and an amazing bargain as it was just for 2,500. read more...

I am always looking for nice suits as they come in handy when you have a last-minute party or function to attend. I was street shopping around this store and just decided to end up going inside. I was really impressed with the collection that the store had to offer as there were tons of designs of suits. I bought a suit for myself which had thread work all over. It was just for 3,200. And for the amount of embroidery that it had, it was really worth it. I also bought a similar design for my sister. But since it had a little more embroidery than mine, it costed me 3,800. read more...
